I have been purchasing the train since my grandson's 1st birthday. Love each car as they are added, most of all, my grandson tells me about his new car each year. This is truly a special gift for any child as you celebrate their growth.
I know that each car added is appreciated, since another child said they liked the train & wanted to take it home, and my Grandson replied that, "No, it was special and couldn't leave, because it was his". It's good to have something special in this throw away world.
