Cow netsuke
Love the cow as latest addition to my collection.
Designed in homage to a traditional Japanese netsuke �a small animal figurine tied to the sash of a kimono�our Cow Netsuke ("net-skee") is a perfect token, collectible, or desk accessory. Use it as a game piece, surprise someone at their desk, or keep it in a fairy garden or on a bookshelf.
Many people love cows because of their sweet and docile nature, or because they symbolize life's continuance, motherhood, and a nurturing soul. Others love cows because of their association with an idyllic countryside, living off the land, farms, and a peaceful lifestyle.
Like all our netsukes, the Cow is handcrafted in our Middlebury workshop from solid pewter. It is also available as part of the Farm Friends set, which consists of the Cow, Pig, and Pony netsukes.
Like all small objects, these can pose choking hazards for small children, so please supervise responsibly.

Netsuke Cow
This finely-crafted little gal is super cute and makes a delightful addition to my Danforth netsuke collection. I keep her on display in my kitchen as a reminder of why I eat a plant-based, dairy-free diet.
