Forest Friends!!
I am addicted to the products!! I will continue to purchase. They make great fun gifts!! (Except I continue to keep them for myself!) Can't have enough.
What is a netsuke? It's a miniature figurine used in Japanese culture on the sash of a kimono. Traditionally, netsukes ("net-skees") were carved from wood or ivory. These Danforth Pewter animal figurines are inspired by these traditional designs. The Forest Friends Set includes, Rabbit, Squirrel, and Hedgehog.
Netsukes make fun and creative game pieces, surprises for a child, or decorations on a desk, bookshelf, or window. Make up a game, leave them for a friend to find, or take them with you for good luck!
Like all small objects, these can pose choking hazards for small children, so please supervise responsibly.
All our netsukes are available individually, or in sets of Furry Friends (Bear Cub, Dog, Cat), Feathered Friends (Owl, Chicken, Bird), Far Away Friends (Koala, Elephant, Whale), and Forest Friends (Rabbit, Squirrel, Hedgehog). Sets come packaged in a muslin pouch. Collect them all!
Because we craft each netsuke by hand, all dimensions are approximate. Subtle variations are natural.
