The Holy Family Nativity Set was originally designed by W.T. Wilson, and is now crafted by hand by our talented pewter artisans in our workshop in Middlebury, Vermont.

This nativity set is absolutely beautiful! I bought the Holy Family Nativity Set. The detail is fantastic! The largest piece is just over 2 inches tall. It's great if you don't have a lot of room, or simply appreciate miniature works of art. I will definitely buy more pieces.

I have owned this whole set for about 35 years. I love it and it is still in perfect condition. I just found it again on-line and was thrilled to buy the whole set for my sister. I also purchased 3 items (shepherds and animals) for myself. I stated this information in my order. The company called me to tell me the figures are now shinier than they were 35 years ago. They wanted to know if I wanted the 3 items purchased for myself to be made in the matte finish instead of the shinier finish so they would match my nativity better. I was pleased they made the effort to call me and ask that. I received all the items and the matte finish items will match my set. The rest (shinier) for my sister are also very nice.
The pieces in the Holy Family set are remarkable in their detail. I am very pleased with them.
The miniature Nativity set is lovely and easily fits on any side table. It depicts the real meaning of Christmas and adds greatly to my Christmas decor. I liked it so much that I added the 3 Wise men, a shepherd, a camel, and an angel. The pieces are beautifully crafted. I really am pleased with my purchase.
The Nativity Set I purchased is more than I expected when ordering. The level of detail on each piece was not completely captured in the photos online, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it more beautiful in person. I appreciate the fact that the set can be purchased in smaller groups, so my family can continue to grow our small collection over time without breaking the bank.
I have great respect and admiration for all things Danforth! This Holy Family nativity set is lovely. I got it to set beneath my little 2 foot tree and it is charming there, or anywhere! As pointed out in one of the other reviews, even the facial detail is done strikingly well.
I purchased this as a Christmas present for a friend who collects miniature pewter pieces. I am so excited to give these to her. They were packaged nicely and are displayed beautifully in the box. I know my friend is going to treasure them. It is nice because there are nativity pieces than can be added to the Holy Family set. It makes a unique, special display for the Christmas season.
