I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter who loves koala. She loves the detail and is very happy with her small koala.
Great gift for a person that likes koalas but it is tiny with lots of details.

A beautiful addition to our netsuke collection
While I love our other netsukes, I think this one may be my favorite. The peaceful parent koala cuddling the young koala is so sweet.

One of my grand daughters loves anything small. From fairy gardens to "Netsuke". I've purchased several of these over the years. The detail is superb for something that size. She proudly displays these in her bedroom.

Great item!
I already own several of your netsukes and milagros and was super excited about this new one. With all that's going on in the world today when we all could use a hug, this piece was a perfect gift for a new mother and my own mom on Mother's Day.

I purchased this netsuke because I have loved koala bears since I was a small child. My dad sent me a stuffed koala toy when he was serving in Australia during WW II. I was heartbroken to hear about the recent fires that destroyed so much of their habitat. I wonder if Danforth might do a special promotion to help with their recovery. Add an extra dollar to each koala netsuke sold and that would go to a charity that is helping with rehabilitation efforts.
