Two things stand out about this ornament to us: First, there is a nice "3D" look to it, as you are looking through the stair spindles into the room with the tree, with everything elegantly framed in the round. Second, the scene is familiar to us as it is similar to our own house and children coming down the stairs on Christmas morning!
I ordered three Christmas ornaments after I discovered that engraving could be added. These ornaments are beautiful and well-made. They were shipped promptly and now decorate the Christmas trees of three little ones!

We are starting a collection of ornaments for our new grand-daughter. We were very pleased with this first one and the engraving on the back.
This ornament was absolutely stunning! My husband and I wanted to start the tradition of buying a new ornament each year we've been married, this being our first! We fell in love with the Danforth ornaments and loved the idea of getting the annual ornament from the same company every year!! We love that they are handmade, and you can tell by looking at the ornament how unique this company is. The ornament is a very reasonable price which made this tradition even easier to do.
