Saw an episode of How It Is Made about Danforth. Excellent design and manufacture. Went on line and after reviewing available products, ordered the Mariner Lamp. The quality and construction of the lamp was excellent. As we do loose power often during the year, this lamp will be used often. I expect it will eventually be a family heirloom. I have long enjoyed the ship's decanter shape for holding of spirits, so adding this lovely shape lamp to the sideboard is a natural. There may be some benefit during the next power outage.
