I love this company! I have bought several things from them. I discovered the shop on a trip to Burlington, VT visiting relatives. I have ordered an oil lamp from them as a house warming gift for my father's new home and jewelry and many netsukes. I use the netsukes with my piano students for note-reading board games. They love them and so do I! Wonderful detail in each and great quality.

Middlebury Magic
I'm an artist who creates art the old fashioned way, so I really appreciate when a craftsman does things by hand rather than by automated, mass production means. Danforth Pewter has become my go-to place when I want to get something small but well made for my wife. The netsuke and scatter pins are absolutely terrific. Because of her interest in birds, especially raptors, made the little owl a must. Well done, Danforth! I wish I could do what you do!

I was surprised to find a company that made miniature pewter animals and objects. I wanted a tiny owl to go with my pewter animals I collected many years ago. I ordered the owl not knowing what to expect other than knowing the size. It arrived well packaged and to my surprise it is exactly what I wanted. The size is correct and it is pewter with perfect detailed features. I am very pleased with my order and may order more since the price is so reasonable.
