Danforth pewter items can really become treasured keepsakes. I have started a tradition of giving and engraved porringer (name and date of birth) to each of my newborn grand-nieces and nephews. They make a lovely, very special, welcoming gift for a new baby.
Having grown up in Williamsburg, Virginia , Shirley Pewter has been a long time tradition for christenings! What a delight to know that the tradition can continue with Danforth continuing to produce these pieces! Thank you for making me feel like I was Home for this important occasion!
