These handcrafted pewter earrings are an homage to natural bodies of water: their depth, simplicity, and the translucent boundaries that are their shorelines. Inside each pendant is a pool of rich blue, which fades into the pewter just as water does at its edges. An exploration of colors and borders, these earrings are as much art as they are an accessory.
Conceived by our lead designer Tim Copeland and crafted by hand in our Vermont studio, these earrings are part of the Danforth Pools line of jewelry. They make a wonderful gift for anyone whose soul cries out for the sea, who looks stunning in shades of blue, and who finds beauty in the places in-between.
Like all Danforth products, these earrings were first carved by hand, then a mold was cast around them. Each earring is made when hot pewter is poured into the mold. Every dab of blue is applied by hand by one of our talented pewter artisans here in Middlebury, Vermont, making each earring just slightly different.
