I have been meaning to aquire a poppy themed lapel pin for years to wear during November and on Remembrance Sunday, and this perfectly fit what I was looking for. The craftsmanship is very handsome -- elegant without being flashy or gaudy -- and it will serve as a fitting tribute for those it is meant for.
This was a gift for my sister and her husband. They promised to wear them especially around Memorial Day and Veterans Day to honor all of those who have served our country. These Remembrance Poppy pins are just great. I had previously purchased a larger pin for myself and multiple Christmas ornaments of the same design. I spent a lot of time looking for a poppy that had the right shape & color and yours were spot on. I believe that a Remembrance Poppy needs to be tasteful and respectful, not gaudy, garrish and artsy. This last batch of scatter pins that I bought were gifts for new friends in Canada. Canadians hold the Remembrabce Poppy in very high regard and the Poppy is worn with great respect. My friends loved these pins!
