The 2024 Snowflake Bentley Ornament is an elegant stellar dendrite, and is, as all the collaborative designs in the Snowflake Bentley collection, based on one of the 5,000 photographs taken by amateur photographer and Vermont farmer, Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, of individual snowflakes, or crystals.

Sometime in early 1911, Bentley adapted a microscope to his bellows camera and became the first person to photograph a single snowflake. In doing so, he astonished the world with his discovery that no two snowflakes are alike.

The collection of photographs is now maintained by the Jericho, Vermont Historical Society, who commissions Danforth Pewter to create annual designs based on his original photographs and each year we release these much-anticipated Snowflake Bentley ornaments, as well as matching earrings, a necklace, zipper pull and lapel pin.

A portion of all sales supports the Jericho Historical Society. Snowflake Bentley designs are excluded from marketing promotions.
