That's because each one is handspun by our talented artisans in Middlebury, Vermont. The 6-ounce goblet has a narrow rim, making them perfect for sipping white wine, port, and digestifs.
You may be wondering, is it safe to drink out of pewter? The answer is yes, and it's excellent for cold drinks! Pewter retains a pleasant chill and traps in a liquid's coldness, making it perfect for a cold beer, white wine, and iced drinks like mint juleps. Many people who have tried sipping out of pewter barware now swear by it!
Please note it is not advisable to drink hot drinks out of pewter mugs because of the melting point of the metal. We recommend hand-washing all pewter barware with warm soap and water, then drying it completely with a cloth.
This goblet, like all our barware, is made of the finest lead-free pewter, which meets or exceeds all FDA food-safety standards.

Exquisite!
Just received 2 of these goblets today. Engraved with our initials. They are so exquisite, so beautiful, I immediately ordered 2 more, also engraved. They really are beautiful. Sometimes a design gets it just right, and this one does. Fits perfectly into our table. These were for our anniversary, and I hope we'll be toasting many more with them.
